La Alcoraya is almost unique in the area with many 'cave' houses. Our bar continues this tradition set into the hillside with cave rooms.

The nature of the geology in the area allows for the easy construction of cave dwellings. Many have superb frontages with bedrooms and wine stores being constructed in the mountain behind. The advantage is that an almost constant 18 degrees is maintained, Summer or Winter.

The area is rugged yet beautiful but sitting out in front of the restaurant with a cold beer and tapas the world just drifts slowly by. It is a very enjoyable experience to walk around the village, meet the people and see the dwellings		From La Acoraya you can easily visit the bustling towns of Alicante, San Vicente, San Juan and El Campello during the day coming back for a superb 'real Spanish' home cooked meal and a deserved cold drink or local wine

	Our restaurant is open at lunchtime every day of the week except Wednesdays. Evening meals can be arranged by pre booking. We are open on Wednesdays evenings from 8:00pm

Our restaurant is truly Spanish in style, with mouth watering food prepared and cooked in our own kitchen, with local produce and served in the Spanish style.

While you are waiting for your meal you can enjoy a drink in our village bar.

We should stress that this is true Spain, not a tourist 'gimmick' and we want you to come and enjoy our traditional real Spanish hospitality.
