"An online forum provides an area where people can leave messages, comments, ideas, suggestions, requests for help, criticisms' or praise about anything at all. Usually the forum is divided up into areas of interest. In this case the forum is divided up into the areas we live in for local knowledge, an administration area where we leave messages about the board and a special section for the English Speaking Club. You can use the
board and read the messages WITHOUT registering but, to leave a
message, you will need to register which isn't as frightening or
complicated as it sounds. You will finally be asked to enter a series of numbers and letters from an image on the page. This is only to stop undesirable people from 'spamming' the forum with adverts. That's it! Very quickly you will receive an email from us with a link in it. Just click on the link and you will be ready to go. Once you have logged in you can read or leave messages on any part of the board. It is your board for you to use. Ideally try and log in at least a few times a week to answer your messages and to keep in touch. You can access just the English Speaking Club section from any of the Forum buttons on the English Speaking Club pages or the complete forum using the forum button in map on the www.myvicinity.co.uk entry page. If you have time to spare we are looking for moderators for the locations and would welcome help. It can be very rewarding in terms of the friendships built up and lots of fun." |
